Default Front Side Lights Won't Turn Off

New member here, I recently installed illuminated door sills on my 14 is350. Now, my front side marker lights wont turn off. i checked all my wiring and everything is good. I have no idea what could be causing this. I'm worried about m battery draining.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

Here's a pic

Turns out, the lights do turn off after several minutes. I'm not sure if they've always done that or not, but I guess everything is ok.

Did you try pressing the lock button twice after getting out of the car? Or... what did you try?

Yeah, I pressed lock twice, but they stay on. They turn off after about 15 or 20 min.

Would it be covered under warranty if I have the dealer look at it?

I didn't think it was normal, but I'm glad that they do shut off.

I'll check my wiring again and disconnect the door sills and see if it still does it. The door sills are oem from lexus and I followed the instructions.

Are there any long term effects of the lights staying on for 15 min.? Will it cause any further problems down the road?
