Front Side Lights Won't Turn Off
New member here, I recently installed illuminated door sills on my 14 is350. Now, my front side marker lights wont turn off. i checked all my wiring and everything is good. I have no idea what could be causing this. I'm worried about m battery draining.
Any thoughts on what it could be? Here's a pic https://i67.tinypic.com/2je1mhz.jpg |
Hmm there's a loop some where dang it, sorry what a pain

Turns out, the lights do turn off after several minutes. I'm not sure if they've always done that or not, but I guess everything is ok.

Did you try pressing the lock button twice after getting out of the car? Or... what did you try? :)
|
Yeah, I pressed lock twice, but they stay on. They turn off after about 15 or 20 min.

15 to 20 min? that's not normal
|
Would it be covered under warranty if I have the dealer look at it?
I didn't think it was normal, but I'm glad that they do shut off. |

a circuit. those lights are being fed power from something else. feedback. sounds like a problem with the lights you installed.
Are there any long term effects of the lights staying on for 15 min.? Will it cause any further problems down the road? |
