Default NEW 5D CF wrap

So I've been watching the forum looking for affordable carbon fiber trim pieces for the interior of my IS and didn't really find many . Then I came across the new 5D carbon fiber vinyl ,and I have to say this stuff is absolutely amazing it looks identical to carbon fiber you cannot tell the difference .... I purchased a large role on eBay in hopes of wrapping a bunch of different items, however because of the thickness and pliability of this product it does not bend easy even when heat is applied. I tried it on many different parts and found that it works best on a flat type service. With that being said I went to work on my interior pieces checking the different threads here first in the forum and finding out how to disassemble my interior. let me say it was quite the project . I went with a "less is more" type theme for my interior. I didn't copy what most people dId thus far with the 3 D or 4 D vinyl, and do the entire console, I did more of the smaller trim pieces in order to just accent the look . Even though it was a lot of work the end result is flawless. It looks so real that as an example I recently took my car to the dealership for a service and had several different people ( including one of the techs and service advisers ) ask me where I got the carbon fiber trim pieces if they were imported from Japan or what? LOL anyways I just wanted to share this experience with you and highly recommend this stuff. like I said it is very hard to work with but the end result is the look of REAL carbon fiber for a very very minimal cost. As a sidenote I wanted to wrap my air-conditioning vents to get rid of the nasty looking goldish silver trim but couldn't get the vinyl to adhere to it, so I ended up plasti dipping the vents! it came out great and looks much better in my opinion in black. As always, I appreciate everybody's opinion good or bad so please let me know what you guys think thanks.

Default Just a reminder

This is not your every day vinyl wrap...this is super high-quality very thick and hard to work with but as you can see if you have a lot of patience and are willing to take all of the pieces apart to wrap them completely around and correctly the end results are flawless
I wish you good luck with all of your projects utilizing this product and I have to admit it's nice to say I was first LOL

Default Looks Good!

Great job man, you got me thinking about my next weekend project. Got a USB 2.0 and maybe considering some deep blue 5D just for some accent, too much maybe? Link below.
