I can recommend the Carista App very highly. A video wouldn't be very informative - it has an extremely simple interface which only takes a minute to master. The $19.99 pro upgrade is reasonable given the customization capability you get.

As far as their Carista branded OBD adapter module, I think $39.99 is overpriced. For that much money it should have included a free upgrade to the pro version. You can buy this VeePeak model (WiFi for IOS) for less than half that price and it's reported to work fine with the Carista App.

is this programming service something we have to pay for or is it somehow complimentary? I am new to the lexus family so excuse me if my question happens to be ridiculous.

If you purchased a new Lexus, that first free 5,000 mile checkup includes customization of these options. I'm not sure if they charge for this service after that.

The nice thing about the Carista App is that it's basically a full featured OBD II code scanner you can use to read and reset check engine codes on any car - something everyone should have. Every "Car Guy or Gal" should have one of these. The customization feature for Lexus and many others makes is a bonus.

Thanks for the information! Yes i just got my lexus couple of days ago dont got 100 miles on it yet lol. I will call the dealer and see if i can do it earlier i kind of dont want to have to wait until i hit 5k miles in order to make these adjustments. Thanks again for the information.
