2015 Bluetooth Samsung edge plus problems
Hi all
I got my car last week and having issues connecting at times. Also, emails and texts are not showing up on my display. The dealership told me it's my phone. Is anyone else experiencing these issues or have a resolution?

is it internet base messages like (line, fb messanger, etc) ? only regular texts come up on my display. i have a Samsung s6. Also, emails do not show up on my nav but i have a 2014 is350.
That is the way it works. One day Toyota will adopt Android Auto / Apple Carplay. Hopefully sooner rather than later, although it will probably only happen after they begin to lose market share to other auto manufacturers who are better at listening to their customers.
I face this issue a lot too. My iPhone has no connectivity issues, even the Bluetooth audio is pretty responsive. While, my S6 connects depending on its mood. Its pretty pissing off. Sometimes when I receive a call on my S6 via Bluetooth it just sounds like an atom bomb blew up in their speaker and I am unable to hear the other person until they call again.
Both my iPhone 6 and Nexus 6P have no issues connecting to my 2015 with ML and nav. Music (Spotify mostly), phone calls, contacts, and text messages all work.
Messages from Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, etc. don't work, but I don't think they're supposed to. I believe that this type of interface is limited to just text messages.

For text to work you have to enable it on both the car and the phone. I forget exactly how to do it in the car, but it's somewhere in the settings menu. For the phone, I don't know where/if Samsung hides that setting.
Anyone have luck with a Droid Turbo 2? Messaging worked with initial pairing for one day then quit. Tried different messaging apps still nothing as far as getting pop up on the screen with audible incoming msgs. New msgs are in the screen folder, but would like to SEE new incoming.
