Default will foglight install cause warranty issues??

i looked and googled but i got nothing. so my question is if i were to install fog lights on a 2016 is350 f sport will it void the electrical warranty? (ijdmtoy fog lights) how long is the factory warranty? and i know in some places the f sport comes with fogs but in us they dont so my third question is if we use the jdm fog light set with the stalk would that impact the warranty as well?

thanks in advance

No it won't void your warranty.
I added the fog lights and changed the turn signal switch. No issue with the dealership when doing maintenance.

Unless you install or wire them in such a way as to damage the the wiring or the car itself, then no you are fine...

Hm.. different story for me. I got a 2015 IS F-Sport. Longo Lexus gives me **** for putting Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on the car and having StopTech Brake rotors and Brembo pads. I kid you not, the service advisors there told me that my brake warranty is voided and anything that is related to the wheels since I do not have OEM specific tires on. Such BS man. I'm at the point where I'm about to leave the Lexus scene.

I'd tell them too bad the law is in YOUR favor and they can't deny you any warranty unless they can prove how the substituted part actually caused something else to fail.

It's not like rotors and pads are warranty items anyway since they are considered wear and tear items.

Your dealer is obviously an idiot.

Nope, had mine installed and got my car serviced at Lexus of Orlando and asked them if its ok. They said as long as they can prove what ever is wrong was caused by the foglights.
