OK so here is a question for the masses. As you all know the 2018 IS 350 F Sport eliminated the Fog lights, why for the life of me they did that who knows. I like a car with Fog lights. Any ideas out there on a mod for this problem? Any pics of perhaps lights in the grill? I'm open to suggestions.

Actually, I don't think we ever got Fog lights on an F Sport model...at least not in Canada...definitely not on the 2014-2016 models.
They exist at least in Japan, hence the knockoff kits that are sold for North American market.
If you are aware that 2017 F Sport has Fog lights, I don't see why the parts can't fit a 2018...should be the same bumper...not sure about the vehicle being pre-wired though.

As stated, none of the US F-Sport models come with fog lights. They did come on Japanese vehicles so that is an option, although an expensive one for just fog lights. Then there are the knock-off units, which mostly seem to get pretty bad reviews from people who have gone down that path.

I love fog lights and was a little bummed the F Sports didn’t come with them, but the fact that the vents down there are functional for brake cooling I think it was a fair trade off. I don’t really want to cut into my bumper etc for fog lights so decided to leave it alone.

Interesting comments. What do you guys think about a behind the grill Fog Lamp install?

The 'vents' on the outer sides of the bumper where the fog lights go do not do anything. It's the inner vents between the fog light opening and the grill that channel air towards the wheels.

Yeah that’s my bad, I always forget it’s the little vents right where the spindle grill is at that vent the brakes. Either way don’t want to cut up the little plates.

That is why I got the 2016 base IS too. I did not like the more predator looking front of the f-sport without any fog lights. Just like I liked the 14-16 rear tails more than the 17+. However I did like the rear diffuser of the 17f sport so I installed that. Also like the way entertainment screen of the 17+ models cant have it all.

The F Sport front makes the 3IS look like a total BEAST especially the facelift models. Of course to each their own preference, but to me it wasn’t even a question which front I liked better not to mention the digital cluster is pretty badass (though not as crazy as Audi’s full digital cluster).

To each his own is exactly correct. I do agree the digital cluster is really nice too. The only real do over I would have done would be getting the 350 base instead of the 200T. I had my 2nd generation F-Sport rims sitting in the garage for years that is another reason I got the base.

I agree too. The pre 2017 IS models look so antiquated compared to the refreshed grill.
