Default Replacement Horn

As I approach five months of ownership with my 2014 IS350, I have very few complaints but what is with the wimpy horn? Has anyone swapped out their horn for something like a Hella, available from Griot's Garage, Amazon for less than $70?

Are these plug-an-play and an easy mod?

I've installed PIAA Bass Horn - honks like a truck, almost plug and play installation, made in Japan and should last as long as the car do.

the horn sounds rather appropriate for the car to me. i think it would be rather ridiculous to have a disproportionate horn that would freak the hell out of everyone around you when used for the sake of novelty or humor.

Totally agree it's a wimpy horn. I feel like people can barely even hear it when I use the horn. I know Lexus makes some quiet cabins, but I still feel like it's a below-average sound output from the horn.

I'd enjoy a recommendation as well.

I conclude with you guys the stock horn is almost useless. When i'm on the parkway and some guy is changing lanes into me at 75/80 mph the horn we have can NOT be heard.

I am going to look up the PIAA Bass horn but doesnt anyone else have any solid recommendations with a link? Plug and play is best.
