Hi guys, so basically long story short my dog accidently scraped up the volume **** in my 3IS F-sport. Does anyone know what the part number for the **** is?

I'm not sure what the part number is, but note that the ***** are different in the Mark Levinson and non-ML versions.

does it feel high quality?
I've only ever driven ML packaged 3IS
the ML have white ***** and have a rubber like feel
I wish instead it was polished metal like on a high end audio receiver, that would have been better imo for ML units

 

They use the light colored ***** for ML because those are the characteristic ***** used by ML on their home and other systems. They are truly "ML *****".

The non ML ***** are a black brushed aluminum.

 

The buttons are made of ceramic. I saw this in some IS ad. That's where the light color and texture come from. I think it's very nice and unique and makes the IS stand out above the bland polished **** you get in all other luxury cars.
