Default Is this normal?

Audio is delayed by about 2-3 seconds when I play music thru the USB and when I stream audio thru Bluetooth, there's little to no delay. Is that normal? Can it be fixed?

That is not normal.
Try a different USB drive.
I have a 64GB Sandisk usb drive that I keep in the car at all times.
Even if I do random on the entire drive, it never has a delay that bad. Maybe a second at most.

It could be.
I've connected an ipod to it, and its response time is very fast.
I've only connected an iphone via bluetooth. I haven't plugged in directly, so I don't know. I can't test that out because I don't have an iphone. It was a friend's phone.
Sorry, I'm not too savvy with iphone's.

Can you expand on the "delay? Do you mean a lag in start up? I find that USB audio or iPod is instant but Bluetooth takes as long as 5-10 seconds to connect initially.

yeah, when I stream audio thru Bluetooth like I said, it's basically instantly. I fast forward to the next song and it follows thru right away. Whereas when I connect thru USB, I press the skip button and it stays on the same song for about 2-3 seconds. It irks me really...

Nah not in start up. However, I've found a trick to having it instantly start up as soon as you start the car up.. Leave the source at USB before you turn off the car, and when you start it up the next time you do, connect your phone to the USB before you start the car. Don't know if you guys knew about that yet haha
