Default How much will it cost me?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone replaced their bumper for 2015 IS250 f sport. A car in front of me ran over a debris and hit my left-lower bumper ( couldn't avoid ). Here is the picture of the damages and I have a minor scratch on my hood as well, the paint chipped off.

Does anyone know how much this costs in san jose area, any recommendations?

Thanks for the help!

A bit of gashes on the bumper.

I'd hit it with a little polishing compound and touch up paint and call it good. It's not the last mark you're going to get on the front bumper.

The paint on these things chips easier than any car I've ever owned.

How much would touch up paints cost?

-Does anyone know a place in CA that they recommend for this?

I think the previous comment is referring to touch up paint you buy at the dealer and DIY....its about 15 dollars. It will most likely look like crap and will never match the color of your car. those are deep gouges / scratches and are going to need to be repaired professionally. My experience with body shops is that they are most likely going to want to replace the whole bumper...may cost in excess of
1k.

Alright thanks!

Maybe I'll resort to the touch up since the black scratches are bothering me. I was hoping to get the bumper replaced for a reasonable price, but still looking around.

This is an easy fix for any body shop and shouldn't exceed 400 dollars. Do not use the touch up paint as it never matches the color well and always looks like it was touch up painted. If any body shop tells you they'll need to change that bumper, they're lying to get your money. Good luck!

My guess is more than $500 to repair properly. If you have even minor OCD tendencies you'll want it done correctly. Why do a half assed job on a brand new vehicle. I'm all for saving money but it never ceases to amaze me how folks want to go the cheap route on expensive vehicles.
