Thanks so much. I didn't want to break anything and have any issues. I decided to upgrade to the 2015 **** because it is much easier to use. Just installed yesterday and really makes a difference.

Don't leave us hanging, share What did you upgrade with? pictures, DIY instructions.

Oh, NVM, I read the next post, so you have a 2014 and used the **** out of a 2015. Here, I thought you found something even better than what we have now on the 2015.

I agree. I never know 2014 was equipped with a different one until I got a 2014 loaner from the dealer.

This is a pic from the website on a 2015 RX. the 2015 IS use the same ****. Your fingers rest nicely on the inner recess.

I got the part from my local Lexus dealer. Here is the part number (84811-53021-C0) , it was $17.16 before taxes. I had to specify it was the **** from the 2015 IS model since I didn't have the part number. It definitely works a lot better than the one on the 2014. Must be the reason why Lexus made the change. Just pull the old one straight up and replace with the new one.

Is the trim around it chrome for your part number bag or matte silver like the finish on the rest of our interior?

Technically speaking, it is chrome-plating plastic or just plastic with chrome look. Can't tell which one.

I also have switched to the new RTI **** as well.
