Default Engine Cover Color Overhaul

I have a few questions.
What are people using to change the color of their engine bay covers?
I can't tell if it's wrap, dip, or paint.
Found a couple pics online / instagram of 3is' with absolutely stunning covers.... so I'm super jealous.

yes...you have to sand the hell out of it!!! start off w/ a coarse grain and then go to a finer grain. I did both the black and silver parts.
