Default Help!!! Lexus questions

I'm doing a small car commercial shoot, using a lexus IS.

However, we only get one Lexus, which is coming in pretty late, so we want to do rehearsal with some other car that has the SAME DIMENSIONS, or within an inch in heigh/width/length/wheelbase, and roughly the same shape.

Preferably Toyota or some non-Japanese brand. We're looking to just rent it from some car rental company.

Do you have any idea of what we should get?

Thanks!

Why do the dimensions have to be exactly the same for your rehearsal shoot?
You can just rent any similar sized 4-door sedans for practice. There won't be that much difference.

We want to take photos for our client, and they want it to look pretty much precisely like the car as it moves. Different dimensions makes the background look different, etc.

I would say you could try to use a Toyota sedan since they're very similar to Lexus models. Not sure which is better, Camry or Corolla.

Thank you!
The Camry is actually 7in longer than the IS250, apparently. Corolla looks really close though! Although the back is pointier (do you know what I mean...?)

If you have any other suggestions, they're very welcome.

A new Toyota Corolla will be closer in dimensions than the Camry. They are pretty similar in size with the exception of width and wheelbase. My husband drives one because he travels so much for work; I was surprised that they are basically the same size car.

That's some great info! I really appreciate it! Will look into the Corolla heh.

Are there any Fords/Volkswagen/Dodge/etc equivalents as well?

You could try VW Jetta or Dodge Dart. I think everything else differs pretty significantly.
