Angry Lexus Enform App

Since the Lexus Enform App has been released for iOS, it has had nothing but issues. I have tried speaking directly with Lexus support about this, but there still has not been a resolution.

First of all, the application is consistent. It consistently provides an error message that there is something wrong with my data connection when I attempt to send a command to the vehicle. A subsequent command is met with a response that the service is still busy with the last command. No other application on my phone has an issue with my LTE connection with Verizon, so I highly doubt that the issue is my cellular connection. Especially considering that the issue still occurs while connected to my home WiFi network.

Notifications... Why can Lexus not configure their notifications correctly?! I configure the application to use the iPhone notification system only. However, I receive emails for every notification in addition to the app notifications iOS reports. As stated earlier, I reported this issue to Lexus support in October 2014. After several follow-ups, this issue still remains.

This service and the application are half-baked and not ready for prime time. The fact that Lexus even considers charging their ridiculous fees for such a service is ludicrous. Hopefully, Lexus receives enough complaints that they will provide a service that is commensorate with their reputation.

right on man. how hard is it to hire a couple decent software people. 12 year olds are making apps in their garages. this kind of crap pisses me off. things that can be easily fixed but are not. i mean wtf?

The app was laggy and unresponsive on my first day, but has worked relatively well since. Processing my request does take a little bit longer than I'd like though.
But yeah, after my complimentary 1st year, I'll probably won't be using it again at its current price point. The fact that they haven't fixed the e-mail notifications for this long is a bad sign.

There's a reason Enform App Suite has a 2 star rating and Enform Remote has a 1 1/2 star

I'm surprised (in a bad way) at Enform, especially since my 2009 BMW i-drive interface (and to a bigger degree on my significant other's 2013 328i) makes the Enform feel like early 2000 technology.

im not having any issues with my enform app or enform remote app. I'm on ios 8.1.1

For me it just depends. It'll go for weeks working flawlessly, then it'll go through a few days of uselessness. Back and forth, back and forth...

I just leased a 2015 250 fsport. I downloaded the app and it connected right away. It is rather slow however has never once not worked.

I did get an email though, about 10 minutes after parking the car and being inside the gym that all my doors had unlocked.... i locked them from the app and continued working out. not sure if they really ever unlocked.
