Default IS Emblem

Hello! I wanted de-badge my AWD IS250 and I wonder if the emblems are only glued on or anything else?? I'm not doing it to pretend I have 350 lol I always had remove all badges from the rear end of my cars, I think it looks cleaner like that. However I don't want to have holes in the trunk. I wonder if the "AWD" and "IS250" are only glued on or do they have some kind of pins in the actual trunk.

Its just double sided tape. A little heat, some dental floss, and some goo gone will remove it.

No holes.

You could always heat the emblem before removal. But I really hate putting an unnecessary heat on my paint if I don't have to. I would suggest grab some dental floss and pull it so the pressure is on the emblem and not the paint. It should come right off. To get rid of the leftover adhesive I could suggest some 3M Citrus based adhesive remover (stuff works great). After I would probably wipe down the area with some IPA. After I would would clay it, polish and seal it.

there are not tabs that hold the word emblems in, just double sided tape.

Why did you buy the car if you want to remove what it is, how about you just give me the car and then you don't have to worry about any logo's.

How about people bought the car for the car and like the look without logos. I'm sure I didn't buy the car for the emblems

You've got to be kidding me.

The year is not 1910. We are not all driving black Model T Fords.

If you've not heard of/seen/experienced car customization in your lifetime there's a pretty good chance you've been living under a rock for over 100 years.

No, it has no holes in it.

Why do we ADD things to our car? Because we like the way it looks.

you know, as long as no one starts doing the identity crisis thing I think they'll be okay. if you don't know what I mean, kinda like putting Si or SiR emblems on a regular civic...or even worse, I've seen bmw m3 stickers on some ford pos...no joke! haha. removing emblems isn't new, some like the simple and "clean" look. some like adding additional emblems or even bumper stickers...haha. it's just a choice thing...but we all know that, right?

but "SAY NO ID CRISIS!!!" haha

I'm thinking of making my grill similar to that of a Bentley, flying lady and all. And replacing the rear "L" with a Bugatti emblem. Hawtness!
