I have the same button on my 2014 IS350 and it is the windshield heater for the the wipers.

Yes, it's the windshield wiper de-icer. Heats the bottom portion of the windshield.

I just took delivery of my IS350 today and was told by the salesman exactly that! That button activates the wiper defrost

There is also this super handy thing in the glove box called the "manual." It has all sorts of great info in there.
