Default Automatoc windshield wipers...

Hey guys,

I recently purchased my fully loaded GS and I don't even get how the windshield wipers work? There is an auto button I push but they don't come on automatically!!! What's the deal with they anyone know?

When you push the auto button in, the green light on the stalk should come on. Assuming that it is raining, the wipers should come on automatically. If that is not happening, contact your dealership to get it looked into

What he said. And the dial on the stalk increases the sensitivity of it.

This may help:

I asked for the number of intermittent wipes to be increased from 3 to 5 (as per the manual), but in order to do so, ther service bulletin requires a convoluted combination of button presses (including the auto wiper switch) to set the required number of wipes.

When the car came back from the dealer, the auto wipers failed to work. They re-attempted the change and this time it all came back to life.

Perhaps something similar?
