Was there additional info or picture to this post? Do you still have it? Can you re-post or PM?

Thank you.

I have a 2016 IS350 with non-ML stereo. Looking to do a 3-way active stage up front and dropping the rear fill, so I need to grab a full range stereo signal.

I'm understanding that I want to do this post-factory-amplifier - no problem.

Can anyone confirm:
1) Are the right and left front channel output of the stock amplifier full range?
2) Is the right and left front channel output of the stock amplifier flat?
3) Is there any volume-****-sensitive dynamic EQ'ing going on?

Thanks so much.

Thanks - I actually reached out to him on a car audio forum already. His last post indicated he was leaving the hobby, but I hope he still has time to answer my PM. I'll be sure and update this forum if I'm able to make any progress.

On the non ML audio system i used the white wire from the smaller wire harness connected to the factory amp.

Thanks for PDF files and wiring pins. Its 10x better than looking for color coded wires when theres 2 or 3 of the same color.

Reshift, what are you referring to here regarding the white wire. Is this for the remote signal?

I found this thread quite informative as im getting ready to install my JL audio fix-86 + Xd 700/5v2. I decided to upload a a edited amplifier plug pin out for those who dont have the mark levinson package. Hope this can help some members.

If there's anyone still around from this thread, I'm wondering if I could get a technician to wire in an Aux input straight to the amp (2007 rx 350 ML system doesn't have one at all) and wire the amp so that if there's a signal coming from the Aux input the amp powers up, so that I can play sound through the amp and speakers from an Aux device without the keys in ignition....anyone know?

thanks

This is probably your best and easiest solution although it will probably only power up with the ignition on and not accessory

Thanks, that's not gonna cut it for me. Wondering if we could somehow tap into the wires going into the ML amp under the back seat to add an Aux input that way. This is proving more difficult than I first thought
