I have had problems with no sound at all in my GS. Not sure if it is the amp or a loose connection somewhere. I have attached a System wiring diagram for anyone who has a Gen2 GS with Mark Levinson that may need a diagram.

 

i've had my amp cut out before... it's mounted in the trunk on the right side underneath the flip up panels...

mine was soaked in water due to a leaky tail-light grommet...

 

Thanks Narfy. My issue is there is no water. It's killin' me. I have checked everything, we can't figure it out. I don't want to spend for an amp when I truly don't know what has caused this.

 

try swapping an amp in?

i'm assuming your headunit display, etc works?

most of the ML amps are interchangable.. different bracketry, different configurations with different speakers, but iirc, for the most part, u can swap 'em around for testing purposes...

 

For all who are experiencing the same symptoms as described in my original post, the amp ultimately was the issue. I have received a new re-manufactored amp and I finally have sound.
