Things like diffusers, spoilers, lights, etc etc

Do you have any CL special pricing similar to the Sewell? The parts listed are quite pricey...

 

I get most parts from rare snare, fizz autosports and ravspec very reasonable with some negotiation

 

Where you guys get RSR Down springs from? Seems like the only place I could find was ebay.

hey guys

does anyone know of benefits of springs vs coils on this specific vehicle? I want to lower the car, dont want bags so these are my choices. RSR lowering springs vs megan racing coils.

and also, do the super down springs cause rubbing etc?

 

I do not like to speak badly about specific companies so I will do my best. When you buy budget coilovers, you get a budget ride. So lets say you were to buy a budget car (lets just use your average "compact" car like you'd normally get at a rental agency)...what kind of quality would you expect? You did buy a Lexus, so generally my advice would be go with the quality choice. RSR is a very high quality spring option and has been designed to work with the stock suspension. Considering your stocks shocks are probably pretty new, this would be a great option. If you want to go coilovers, I would look into some of the nicer coilover options. RSR, KW, Etc are going to perform better and be more comfortable.

You might be happy with the results of using a budget coilover, but I don't recommend it. Especially on higher quality cars. You wouldn't buy a Million Dollar home and put an Ikea Kitchen in it would you?

Hopefully some other members can comment on the benefits on the 3IS specifically, but most of them should be similar to other makes and models.
