i'm still debating on what tint to get, if any. Is tint something easy to take off? I did have 35% all the way around my last car except the windshield (which had no tint) here in Maryland. Cops never bothered me, though my car was registered/tagged in Arizona which has much more relaxed tint laws.

I went 30% all around. I noticed a few "dust" particles on some of the tint.

I had the driver side replaced yesterday and guess what? It still has dusts. Only less noticeable since it's located at a different section of the window.

I think the best place to take it to is one that isn't as busy. These guys were rushing since they have 10 appointments every day.

My previous tint on my old car was perfect. No dust particles anywhere. This was at a lest busy shop. I should have taken it there. The place I took it to was contracted with Lexus.....

Got 35 on the front and 18 in the back. Had 35 all around on my last car and never had cop issues in fix-it happy so cal, where anything on fronts is illegal. Just don't give cops any extra reason to look twice at your car.

Thanks for the picture! Do you have any more that show more of the side of the car?

Found these good videos:

And:

Too bad the quality isn't HD, as would be a great point of reference!

If anyone else comes across anything similar, please let me know.

I'm thinking 50's on the sides and 35 on the rear now...

Thanks!

One thing to make sure when you guys get tint is get the expensive film that reduces the UV heat.

Agreed. I'm going to go with Huper Optik ceramic. Its gonna cost me $600 for the full car but will be worth it.

I had it on my previous car (black on black leather) and now feel how much I got used to the heat rejection properties of ceramic tint. I was able to keep my AC at a solid 74 all year long.

You know, I had 35% mirror all the way around and was only ticketed for it once in 13 years....and that was during a stop for speeding. I'm getting my tint done this weekend and am either doing 35 all around or 50 all around. Not sure yet.

A lot of getting a ticket has to do with what you do for a living also.

I wouldn't go 50%. You may regret it. At least do 35%. You can still see in but you have privacy.

Oh and why is that guy tinting the outside of the window?

Yes, this is standard. They have to cut and fit it first before then go ahead and tint the inside. It would be a PITA to cut and fit from the inside.

What exterior / interior colors is your car?

Please remember to take picutres from multiple angles and post; would be a huge help!

Thanks.
