nav map at start up

Default nav map at start up

Just bought Is250 f sport. So far I love the car. Why is the nav map up at startup

It is the default screen for Lexus cars.

Steve, here's how to change the default setting: go into "Settings," then "General," then turn "Auto Screen" off.

However, for whatever reason, you cannot default it to the home screen.

Define "home screen".

For me it always starts at my 3 screen setup. Nav on the left, radio top right, and hybrid system bottom right.

What you've described is a variant of the split home screen on US cars. Unfortunately, our cars can't default to the home screen at startup. Why Lexus refers to it as the "home" screen is beyond my understanding.

That worked. If I have sat or the climate control view at shut down then that is what come up next start up. The manual did not explain the feature of auto on. Probably written by someone who replies to qustions in this forum with read the manual. Thanks spud
