Default Nav/Screen default?

At one time when I turned off my Lexus and then turned it back on the Nav/Screen would always default to the last screen prior to turning off the Lexus. Now it always defaults to the Nav screen and I have to hit the home button to get my preferred layout (Radio/Weather-left side, Nav on right).

I have the Auto Screen set to "off" and the screen still defaults to the Nav screen every time I restart the Lexus. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I was wondering exactly the same thing. Maybe it's a dealer only setting?

as far as i can tell that can't be changed. not even at the dealer. did you do a nav update at all? been to the dealer and they did any kind of updates to the system? if not then you might be mistaken that it did this. the default screen for the nav sytem is the map, the default screen for the non nav systems is the radio (i think).

I'm speaking of my nav radio. If the car is turned off with the radio screen it will still be on when I start the car. If it's on the home setting (split screen), it always defaults to full screen nav with restart. It can't be set to stay on the split screen at all times.

Note it =did= work at one time -- it seemed to stop working after I updated the Radio/Nav software a few months back ....

Hmm, how many months back was this? I got my IS in October of 2016, and I have always noticed this behavior described by doodlebug. I like having my Home screen up most of the time, but it always goes back to Navigation if I had Home up when I turned the car off.
