Wow, those are some pretty massive rock chips. I think the only way to properly fix them is to head to the body shop.
Yes
That's extremely high from what most people have been paying. I paid $1500 for bumper, full hood, full fenders, and mirrors. My installer (authorized Xpel dealer and installer) would have only charged $310 to cover the bumper.
bahahahahahaha I'd take a blowtorch and a sandblaster to the front of my car before I paid $1500 for some clear bra on my car
No way a partial xpel ultimate wrap should cost $2k. I did partial including mirrors and door cups plus Opticoat for $1100. Xpel was $600 of that.
My car wrapped full front+ side mirror and partial roof for 1600 and he gave me 20% off that price. It was the 15 WRX but he said he would still use 60" film. Some of you guys got ripped off. LOL
Sorry to bump this up again but how much will it cost to recover it fully? I am willing to buy the Dr. C but idk if it will fill that rubbed plastic. Wrap will be something after i've recover that bumper.
I just got my 2014 IS250 on Saturday. Today I checked my front bumper and it has couple of rock chip/scrap marks near right front headlight. There is also a small crack on the headlight. Is there anyway to cover this chip marks? My heart is breaking due to this chip marks... Hate Downtown LA road I'll post some pictures later.
saewoo,
Those don't look like regular rock chips to me. It looks like someone opened their car door on you in a parking lot by the way/direction the scuff marks are going (left to right, not front to back).

Thanks.
Well if that's the case... I'll have to go to the body shop to get this fixed...
