Default Micro SD card

Maybe I am the only one that didn't know this but I just found out that behind the lower portion if the panel where it says Mark Levinson is a micro SD slot with a 16GB card. I had no idea lol

It's well hidden.

This card contains the map data for your navigation system.

Unfortunately it is not well enough hidden, do not remove/replace the chip as you will disable the Nav.
You can not substitute any other media with this slot. Future Nav updates will be available and should
be easier (cheaper?) than the flash update to the Hard Drive storage of the '10 - '13's.

but to answer your question - I don't think so. The cards actually seem to use the "S" part of MicroSD - secure.

So you'll probably need to buy a new one. Hopefully, it'll be newer than what you had, so the pain of buying one won't hurt as much.

No such luck.

Regardless of the technology, I think Lexus prices their Nav updates to be roughly the cost of a new Garmin GPS .

I should clarify. If you have navigation, it flips down. If you don't have nav. it just a blank fixed panel.

That is correct. No nav, no SD slot.
