I have a slight incline on my driveway and I always notice the auto-leveling at night.

It looks like the LED lights do have auto leveling

MOTOR, HEADLAMP LEVELING, (RH - RIGHT, PASSENGER SIDE) 01 Ships 24-48 hrs $163.48 $140.04
85662 8566112020
MOTOR, HEADLAMP LEVELING, (LH - LEFT, DRIVER SIDE) 01 Ships 24-48 hrs $163.48 $140.04

PACKING, HEADLAMP LEVELING MOTOR BASE 02 Ships 24-48 hrs $4.04 $3.46

Nothing was listed under the HID diagram but cross referencing the part number into the HID does show the same part number for the leveling motor.

All HIDs will have self leveling. But it doesn't move like adaptive. It will move when you have passengers at the back. When there's passengers at the back, the headlights tilts upwards. Self leveling will happen

I believe self leveling is mandatory on all HID equipped vehicles, and possibly in LED based headlights. Maybe they did away with the leveling self check when the car is started?

my LE 2004 has hid which self levelling , it has gone wrong though.
On start up they used to go down , up and then level approx in the middle BUT now they stay up and warning light on dash is on.

Does anyone know if this is easy or cheap to repair or a small fortune.
Sorry to hi-jack thread

on my 2014 F sport, I have LED's and I have seen them level by themselves sometimes. if I have a lot of weight in the back I have seen my lights lower by themselves when I start the car.
