Most comfortable seats for a long trip

I am 5'5'' and absolutely looooove the comfort of the seats. Yes, they are very low (I love it) and slightly more difficult to get out of compared to my last car (G35), but not to the point of me even thinking twice about it. That difference could be because the G seats went back when the car was turned off, and these seats don't. My husband is 6'3" and I certainly don't think the car was built with his size in mind over my size.

Came back from a 1500 mile trip. Extremely comfortable seats. I think Acura may still be the best but I can't remember for sure. One thing I noticed is that this is the 1st car I've owned where cars in front of me moved over to the right as soon as they saw the grill and the lighting in the rear view mirror. Awesome. The front grill has some kind of visceral effect on people. I did get a ticket for doing 7 miles an hour over the speed limit. I'm not sure what to do about that. 2nd one in 14 months.

i have driven corvettes for the last 4.5 years, everything was good for about 2 years and then when the economy tanked cops were everywhere trying to generate more revenue!
i got pulled over 5 times in 6 months! i was ticketed 4 of those times and convicted of those violations 0!
heres the deal, the city just wants your money, they are not trying to enforce safety! so if you challenge a ticket and are prepared to go all the way to trial over it, 90% of the time they will allow you to plea to a lesser charge such as a broken windshield or other non moving violation.
TRUST me when i tell ya, the LAST thing they want to do is to go to court and fight about a ticket! to do so requires they reserve the court room for a few hours, they have to hire the District Atty by the hour to bring a case on the side of the state, hear your evidence and go through the entire process.
the cost to do this is several hundred dollars even for a short trial. even if they win, they win less in fines for the ticket than they spend going to court!
if they offer you a plea bargain that you agree tom they simply collect their money and move on.
the fine will be the same but your insurance rates won't go up for the next 3 years at least.
in colorado we have a point system, a ticket can be 2-4 pts for speeding depending how host you were going, as many as 6 points for a major violation. if you get more then 12 in a 12 month period, your suspended.
so if your state uses a point system you could be at risk of loosing your license.
if you look around i have a DIY thread showing how to install the new passport MAX radar detector and the Escort Live direct wire kit.
yes it will cost you almost 600 bucks to buy these items but i guarantee you will significantly decrease the odds of you getting busted in the future. given the cost of a ticket and the time involved not to mention the court battle and attorney should you actually take it to trial it pays for itself the first time it alerts you and you know the whereabouts of the cop before he even has the ability to pick up the radar gun and try to clock your speed.
there is SAFETY in numbers, with the escort LIVE it's like having a social network for the road!
if you have not read about this technology its pretty simple..
if another driver so much as sees a cop they can press 1 button and MARK that location for 2 hours. the information is passed via internet through their cell phone.
here you come along.. minding your own business and when you get within a mile of that location your radar detector says "LIVE COP" and lets you know there is a smokey just ahead waiting for you to get in his LASER, RADAR or VASCAR cross hairs!
so now you know to slow down before you get to his location. you know about him, before he even knows your there!
it also alerts and reports Ka alerts to if the other guy or you got an alert the location is marked for 2 hours automatically.
just last weekend i was with my buddies headed to santa fe new mexico to go dirt biking. i have the same setup in my pickup truck.
we had a sheriff ahead of us with his KA band radar gun running constant for 10 miles i picked up this cop radar ahead of us as we followed.
after 10 miles he finally turned into the median to start clocking speeders. i looked at my escort LIVE map on my iPhone and i had painted alerts every 2 miles for 10 miles all along interstate i-25.
as i passed him i couldn't help but laugh knowing anyone with the same setup as mine is going to see a trail of KA alerts for 10 miles on their phone right up tot he position he was sitting. knowing that if anyone with the setup i have will be ticket free guaranteed! they could be doing over 100 MPH, get that notification and safety drive past the stupid cop who was totally unaware that his stupid little radar gun and hiding spot in the grassy median won't matter 1 bit!
for the fact that my unit picked up his signal he might as well have a neon sign 20 feet in the air with flashing red letters that say "THERE IS A COP SITTING HERE SLOW DOWN"
trust me the more of us who spend the money, get the unit in all of our cars the less likely you'll ever get another ticket.
simply the best thing money can buy to avoid another ticket!

Thanks Bass Mech. Sounds like a Waze (crowd sourced) radar set up. I'll look into it. My challenge is that I got the ticket about 400 miles away from my home. The ticket is 1 point. I haven't had a point on my record for 15 years or so. I really can't go to court 400 miles away as I have a small business to run. The cost in travel and time would make the whole enterprise even more pricey.
The ticket is 1 point. California works like this - suspension occurs if one gets 4 points in 12 months, 6 points in 24 months, or 8 points in 36 months.
It was a complete set up in Los Gatos. The wealthiest community in America maybe. One has to pass through mountains on the way to SF. The cops hide behind bushes soon after starting to go downhill. The best place to trap someone. I was in a pack and asked why me and not another driver. He said I was the one he focused on. Los Gatos should not need traffic ticket revenue but it does because of various tax codes that have affected revenue for every city in CA.
I do appreciate you taking the time to try and help me out though.

I used to do ride along's with a cop. he told me your reply is typical "why me?" his reply was "you ever been fishing?" (yes) "did you catch all the fish? today was your day.."

What to do about getting tickets? You could do what I did. Several years ago, twenty five years to be exact, I got a few tickets in a short span of time for going slightly over the posted limit. I got a battery powered Solo radar detector that I mounted via visor clip. I never got another ticket since. This detector gives me enough warning in most situations to be an effective, convenient solution to prevent nuisance tickets.
