Default Sport/Performance Pkg Seats vs Normal Seats

I test drove another LC yesterday that had the Sport Package with the more bolstered seats and the Alcantara inserts. Obviously these are different seats then the LC I drove with the Touring Package. It also seemed to me that the lumbar on the Sport Pkg seats was better than the lumbar on the Touring Pkg seats. Does anyone know if that is the case? Or was this a user error on my part? Thanks.

I also test drove both before I bought mine with performance package. I agree with you that sport seats are more lumbar/lower back supportive. At least that's how I felt. In addition, the shoulder area also "wraps" you better.

However, according to some youtube reviews, it seems regular seats are more suitable for long drive while sports seats are more sporty and suitable for relatively short drive. With that being said, they think once you sit in the car for a long period, regular seats could be more comfortable than sports seats. I didn't have chance to try regular seats long enough to judge. But, that kind of makes sense since it is called "touring" package.

BTW, so far I have no complaints about my sport seat, nor my passengers. Also, regular seats are less bulky, your back seat passengers might have a little bit more leg room, not that really matters.

I live 1 hour and 45 minutes from the dealer, the sport seats in my performance model are comfortable for long drives. I did sit in the non sport seats and I would rather have the sport seats.

Both the sport and touring seats seemed equally comfortable to me. I ended up buying the touring but only for price reasons. The touring lumbar also supports me very well.
