Well next week I'm bringing my car in to install my system and for them to bypass the DVD motion so I can watch on the go ;-) but was happy to find out that I was able to play blu ray movies on my CD player !!! :-) good job lexus !! Now to find out how to get the iPod video to work :-( might tell them to just install the component jacks for me unless anyone else know how to watch from the phone ???

 

According to the manual, the new IS in North America can only play DVD and not the blu-ray. Only the models sold in Japan have the blu-ray capability.

It would be interesting to see the unpublished feature. Please post the results.

Either you got the hook up or the manual is wrong. I am sure we'll have some validation today!

 

I'll try another Blu-ray Disc and make sure it's working too :-) but transformers looked good to me :-)

 

Mine plays Blu-Ray (Ratatouille), non Mark Levinson stereo.

Ok guys !! Update !!! So it seems my damn son switched the DVDs on me and I was playing a reg DVD of transformers !! So I guess blu ray is not working on mine :-( damn u boy !!!! No xbox one for him !! Lol

 

What are you guys smoking? It will not play Blueray and even if it did you can even see that much resolution difference on the tiny screen.

 

i wish i can play videos from iphone/ipod or usb......

 

Ok, just checked. My case for Ratatouille says Blu-Ray, but the disc doesn't. Too bad I can't blame this on a child...
