Did you drain the battery somehow? These electronic start cars are completely unresponsive if the battery is dead. My 2013 Charger got drained one night when I was having in car camera issues(police car) and killed itself one night and it would do absolutely nothing when I got in it, no dash lights at all. A quick jump start saved the day.

That's BS. My original Toyota battery lasted 10+ years, and my IS battery lasted 6+ years (in 120F summers).

With all these 3IS battery issues, it appears to be more of a car fault (wiring, electronics drain, etc).

I had to jump start my CT, my 2RX 330, and 3RX all once. In each case, I got carried away with the sound system on (engine off) while washing the car. All it took was 30 mins or so to drain the battery in each case and the irony is each time I was conscious of the previous jump start... I learned my lesson now and with the IS I haven't had the radio on for more than 10 minutes without the engine on.

I recall the day growing up when washing my dad's Toyotas in the late 80s and 90s where I would listen to the radio for 1.5 - 2 hrs without ever draining the battery. Those days are long gone. It seems the battery capacity in today's cars have not kept up with the electronic demands of today's high-drain cars. There are just so many more electronics in play running in the background beyond what we see and hear. It's time manufacturers put higher capacity batteries.

thanks guys. I got my baby fixed now it was the battery but still no clue to why my battery drained. But now I'm ten times more careful. And yeah batteries tend to last. Now 120F weather is different. I lived overseas and both of our lexus GX and GS had to have a new battery each year because of the heat.

120F is killer, but I do have A/C controlled garage, and the 12C battery is LiPo.
