Was looking for interior trims kits because I'm not a huge fan of the carbon fiber trim for F-sport. There is a OEM matte black trim kit on sewell but has no pictures. I also found some trim kits on bitrim.com. Not sure about quality .... maybe in the future there will be more OEM trim kits available

 

Have you considered vinyl wrap? They make some nice textures like brushed metallic black.

Just google 3m vinyl wrap and there are a ton of them. You can wrap anything that will hold a sticker.

 

I like the silver carbon fiber trim so no plans for me but I will finish the plastic plate in my car (I'll post a pic later) with the brushed metallic black as I want a finished look similar to the stock finish you get when you have the Mark Levinson sound system. As John510 said, definitely worth searching the wraps from 3M, Avery, etc and if you want the precision work, get it professionally done and I bet it wouldn't cost more than if you get a dash kit

(These dash kits look tacky personally as they're at least 2-3mm thick, glued on and it shows that it's a protruding piece of plastic trying to look fancy, stuck above the factory trim)

 

There is an OEM black trim kit on Sewell. Does anyone have pics of this? Is the matte black trim standard for basic IS configurations?

 

The kit from Sewell is just the base cars trim I think. The FSport's trim is much nicer IMHO

Thanks! Yeah the standard matte black doesn't work with FSport interior IMO. Maybe the linear dark gray wood trim would work....maybe not. FSport interior may be too sporty for the wood. Wish there were more options. I will check out the 3M and Avery wrap options.
