Default What would you do re: walnut trim..

I have this:
http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2007/2006.html

in (almost) my car...

I personally do not like it.

You think it would be worth it to sell on ebay and get something else? What other options are there that look better?

Any ideas?

I would much rather have the lighted door sills, new ebay LED rear tail lights, and maybe some carbon fiber or just regular black trim pieces..

or hell, for 75% of the retail price I could get a fly audio radio..

Don't expect to get more than $200-$400 for your used cherry wood trim. As far as your options go, you can try trading with someone who has the plain silver trim, paint the trim black, swap for the IS-F's silver CF interior, wrap what you have in 3M DiNOC or some other CF vinyl imitation, buy a "real" CF overlay from a place like carid.com, or send it to a shop to have the trim professionally done in real CF. The possibilities are endless.

FX Auto has a real Carbon fiber replacement kit. They're a vendor on CL. Not really sure about your statement on the other items you want. Do you mean you can sell/trade your wood trim for some of these items? You can try posting in the classifieds section.

Yeah, I was thinking 2k looked a LITTLE high.......it's not made of gold or anything.

So far in my searches I'm seeing the dark colored carbon fiber and it looks pretty good!

This would be great, 285 is a little pricey though.

If anyone knows of a person looking to trade something like that for wood, let me know please!

Because the CF trim in the eBay link looks like overlays that stick onto the original trim, not replacement pieces.

I would trade it for silver trim plus cash and then either buy the CF overlays, wrap it in the 3m vinyl, or have it professionally painted gloss black
