I think the RX and the LS are just about the only Lexus' that have power folding mirrors in the US.
The GX offers them too in one of it's option packages. I would think the LX would have them, but don't know for sure. The LS is the only sedan that Lexus offers them on in the US, you can get them on just about any Lexus model in other countries.
The european IS 300h F-Sport has auto folding mirrors as an option (together with leather seats and memory). And yes, they tilt when you put it in reverse.
Do the F sport mirrors in the executive package (Canadian car) tilt down when you put the car in reverse?
Yes, it does, according to the Canadian IS brochure. I think one member here in the forum has this package. You know, sometimes the brochure has some incorrect info..
Apparently Lexus has skipped this feature in the US and CAN market. I am pretty sure this feature is quite essential in Asia and Europe. You can get this feature on a economic car...
In the UK, auto folding mirrors come on the "Premier" (highest) trim level.
However, mine (and I think all) has power folding mirrors, so I don't miss them (I had them on my last car, a Volvo). I have simply gotten into the habit already of pressing the folding mirror button as I apply the footbrake and put the car in 'P', prior to power-off.
