From past conversations on this forum I was lead to believe that the auto tilting mirrors (when you put the car into reverse) was a standard feature. However, I just picked up my car and they do not tilt down when going in reverse. Is this a luxury package only thing or is there something wrong with my car? I’ve tried putting the mirror switch in all 3 positions and there is no change.

 

i believe it is only the lux package...bc i dont have them.....

Guys, for the auto tilt to work your mirror adjusting switch should be set to either the right or left mirror - not in the middle. I hope this helps.

 

I know... already tried that. When I was picking up the vehicle the sales rep even said the mirrors would tilt. But, as noted here, I guess it is only on the Lux package. I have the premium package.

 

It is only in the Lux package.

 

As previously mentioned, it's also available in the sport pkg. I have the sport pkg and my mirror tilts.

To the OP, the salesman misinformed you. Your mirrors will NOT tilt as you have the premium pkg.

 

It's definitely not std. Lux (or Sport) Pkg only, together with auto-dim outside mirrors.

 

Sports Package here, and the mirrors tilt.

 

i have sports pkg and mine tilt too...go back to the dealer and get some freebies or something
