Does Lexus HS250h have auto-tilting mirrors when you shift to Reverse? I have the base model and the dealer claimed that there is reverse auto-tilting mirrors option in this vehicle. I have an older base ES350 and it has that feature. Also, Edmund's site also mentioned that it is included:

I just want to confirm whether it is true or not. I got used to the side mirrors parking next to a curb(a very useful feature).

 

Yep, my mirrors tilt down in reverse and back up heading forward again.

 

it's on the premium package; don't know about the base model. But you have to have the mirror selector set to the driver side (maybe it works passenger side too) - if you leave the rocker switch centered, it disables the backup function. Give it a try, and see if maybe you just have it disabled.

 

I have the base model and I have the mirror selector on either left and right of the mirror (No go though). I am beginning to agree that this feature is only on the Premium model.

Anybody else with a base model that has the auto-tilt feature?
