I'm considering buying an IS (between that and an A4) and was wondering if bluetooth streaming and hands-free phone works without navigation. Looking at the Lexus website it seems like streaming is standard in all models but phone requires navigation, which is the opposite of the Audi and kind of frustrating.

Can anyone verify this?

 

Navigation is not necessary. Lexus has a website that tells you what the capabilities are with their system based upon your phone and carrier and whether you have navigation or not.www.lexus.com/MobileLink/

It looks like it will do both, although it won't display any track information with my phone (Nexus 4).

 

And the nice thing about the non-Nav version is the Lexus Display Audio Controller. It has a cubby hole for your phone
