Most prefer HID or LED? and why? Cost variance?

Agreed-- wheel gap is awful again I hope somebody comes out with springs relatively soon after launch so I'm not rolling around 4x4-ing for too long

This little plastic guy might not survive if I go too low though.

The european version gets clear headlights and we in the US get the ugly yellow reflector. How does porsche and audi get around having that ugly reflector on their cars in the US. I know their turns signals are yellow. It would be cool if you could get the euro headlights for a decent price.

Audi and Porsche do have those reflectors. Some models have them in the side of the headlight or they have a separate reflector on the fender. You can't go by the pictures on their website, because sometimes they reuse photos of euro spec models from their european site.

Wow. Not available in Canada on F-Sports. Wonder how much else we lose.

I personally wish I still have the HID headlights as the F sport package in Asia all come standard with LED. I guess it really depends on where you live but there are alot of fog and mountain road where I live and the LED just doesn't cut thru them at all. At full dark it doesn't have much coverage either compare to HID.

I'm debating if I should purchase the HID lamp and swap them out.

HID has:
better reach (shines further)
better illumination (usable)

LED has
better width (shines wider)
longer service life (theoretically, life of car)
whiter (some people prefer whiter lights)
