I was also wondering this. I know the hi-power LEDs are the brightest, but will a flank one be better or a normal hi-power one that shoots in multiple directions?

if you want bright get the hi-powered leds but they'll burn out quite quickly if your puddle lights go on often. if not get the 6 led flank from v-led they're pretty freaking bright imo

pchan, nice lights. how is the dimming on the polargs? do they dim on and off smoothly like the oem bulbs or is it a little bit rougher?

I have the flank 4 SMTs, but it uses the .5w LEDs. Supposed to have 80 lumen output vs. 12 lumens from the flank 6 SMTs.

Your post made me check which bulbs I had, I could not believe there was a bulb 6 times brighter then the ones I have. AznJason is correct, I have the the 2w 4SMTs. They are very bright!

If you get the 2w 4SMTs you need to push the bulb in (Into the socket) and pull it out just a hair, other wise they will not light.
