First time Lexus owner here (2015 IS 350). My one beef with the car is the headlight spread only seems to reach to about 40 feet in front of the car. This is annoying...and potentially dangerous. If I want to illuminate the road beyond that, I have to turn the brights on. Is there a way to aim the low beam headlights higher?

You would need to use a Phillips-head screwdriver to turn them.

Thank you for this post! Every time I drive my car at night I get reminded of how terrible the headlights are on these (mine's a '15 too). I'm going to do some adjustments this weekend.

 

Just please be kind to other motorists and don't blind them.

 

I made the adjustment last night. It took a LOT of clockwise turns. And it still might not be enough for my liking. I only adjusted the up/down adjustment. I didn't do the right/left adjustment, because I haven't found where to adjust that yet. But I saw somewhere someone saying that the right/left adjustment isn't really needed.
