It's in the hole closer to the fender. It's kind of a pain to properly find the screw down there too, just sticking the screwdriver in there I wasn't able to find it easily. Ended up shining a flashlight around until I could see the screw on the back of the headlight through the hole and then carefully feeding the screwdriver down to it.
well crap, I thought that was up and down also! I moved those like 2 full rotations also. Damn, gonna need to find a really dark area with a wall and do some more adjusting.

Yeah, the manual is entirely unclear about that, which is kind of annoying lol. It just tells you to turn it the same number of turns as the one towards the centerline of the headlight, but I was able to confirm by making markings on my garage wall and then turning the screw that it is indeed the left and right adjustment.

My 12" long philips bit arrived today so I can adjust those lights easier. I was using a skinny little flathead pushing the gear, was a pain in the butt.
I think I will just go back in and lower then maybe half a revolution. Should be good until I can spend some time at night working on them this weekend.
If I get the lights sorted and the tires/brakes upgraded all my major annoyances will be solved with this car. Then maybe I won't buy a C8 lol. It's only $65 more a month!
I had to adjust mine upward with a 12” Phillips. Once adjusted they are very good. Factory setting is so low it makes it extremely hard to see at night. I’d imagine it’s due to the car sitting so low that moving upward is angling up in the line of sight and possibly blinding for oncoming traffic. I haven’t been flashed yet.
I have a 2021 and my beams are low. They look "wonky" anyway as there isnt a clean cutoff line on top. I dont have pics of that yet.
I have a warning:attention sticker on the assembly and "additional" hole it seems for adjustment? Can anybody further the discussion from these new facts?

If your car has the triple LED headlights you use the "3LED" hole to adjust, if not you use the "1LED". Using a long 10" or longer Philips, you mate the screwdriver head with some gears down in the hole, turn it one way or the other to adjust up or down. You just have to play with it and see where it goes, use a flashlight to see the gears. Park on a level spot facing a wall about 20 feet away and adjust away.
Maybe RTFM? I pulled it up and looks like the splash guard is for "any" and can be 1 or 3 LED. Since mine is 3 led I use the right most one although the "both at same time" is confusing.
for what its worth, I recently adjusted (raised) my triple beams by hand... there's a little gear **** at the bottom of the adjustment screw that you can turn) & both sides are very easy to get access to from the top with the hood open.
My wife's 2023 IS500 also came from the factory with lamps aimed too low. And mirroring @95bat's post earlier, a "scalloped" edge to the top beam on the driver's side and a huge dark spot.
Looking at things, no Philips screwdriver is needed to adjust either screw; you can just reach down and behind the lamp and get at the adjustment with a 1/4", 7mm socket and small ratchet to make the adjustment directly to the adjustment screws.
Going to do ours tonight, and I will let folks know how it turns out.
Here are a few photos as to how things currently are, which my wife took one night recently driving home from Washington DC:
Yup, that's how mine look, except mine were a little worse.
I actually have to finish adjusting mine. Summer came and I haven't driven at night in months. I think I am going to point my driver side headlight over to the right and see if it fills in the big dead zone. I raised my lights too, but I think they're a little too high at the moment.
I still think these are the worst lights I've had since my first Lexus in 2013.

That dead zone on the left headlight is meant to be there, it's so you don't blind oncoming drivers. Yes it's odd but that's why it's there.

Yeah, our old RX pointed lower on the driver side for that reason, but you could still see. The ES, LS, and our new RX all have triple beams and none of them have a big dead zone 🤷♂️ This giant dark spot might not blind other drivers, but I couldn't see what was directly in front of me. Plus, these lights point down so far in a low-ish car I don't think they're going to blind many people if they had eliminated the dead spot. Maybe that's the price you pay for the entry level sport sedan...

It is funny; I get high-beams flashed at me all the time. I don't understand it. These lights have the lowest cut-off of basically any car I've owned. The only way I can explain it is that a bunch of grumpy people are tired of LED lights and are just taking it out on me.
I also am high-beamed frequently... I even asked the dealer to verify they were within spec my last oil change. The problem is that any changes in the road -- dips, bumps, potholes -- result in briefly raising the nose and sends death beams at oncoming traffic. I'm tempted to adjust mine down and see if it stops. Me being high beamed when driving around is not relaxing...
