Default Possible buy IS 300

Hi Guys
Just joined the forum as i am negotiating for a brand new 24 IS300 , questions on features below
1. When was the current model redesigned, i have driven the old IS250 long time back, are they redesigning from 26 or stopping the IS?
2. The car i am looking at doesn't have premium package but comfort package and doesn't have memory seats , true?
3. Does it have power folding mirrors ? Could not find the feature in the car ?
4. The sales guy said it has apple car play / android auto compatability but not wireless, true ?
5. Does it have digital speedometer?
6. How's the power and performance of the 4 cylinder turbo engine , reliable?

Lastly how much discount i can expect and do you all recommend the car? It drives well per my limited test drive and looks good and sporty.
Do you recommend the car . I am new to Lexus but have owned several performance cars like BMWs, corvettes etc so am a car guy

Thanks in advance

There is a thread here for the turbo cars that talks about boost fluctuation issues. I went for a v6 IS300 for better reliability.
If you plan on trading in 3-5years I don’t think you’d have a problem with the turbo.

Here are two images showing the title for some of the threads related to the turbo 4 cylinder issues. I agree that in general naturally aspirated is more reliable long term. Can’t comment on your other questions, sorry.

The 2025 buyers have active threads, you could ask there but why not ask the dealer selling the vehicle.
And how is it that you test drove the car and yet don’t know what gauge cluster it has nor if it had folding mirrors or memory seats ?

I would imagine you could talk to the dealer tomorrow and get your questions answered. Good luck on your car search.

I’m sure you recognize you are posting on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, forum traffic is typically slow

I’d suggest you exercise some patience or use the search feature on your own in the interim. Posting that you ‘expect answers’ is more likely to have people scroll right past your thread without anyone helping.

Examples of search results you’d find

If this is a new car, did you take a photo of the window sticker so you could review the equipped options after you left the dealership?
