Winter wheels
Hi guys, I recently purchased a set of 4 steel wheels and winter tires for my 2017 Lexus IS300 F Sport .
The steel wheels I have are 17 inch and the tires are all 225/45R17, for front and rear.
Rears fitted up no problem, however front rims were an interference on the front calipers.
I initially thought about a 10mm spacer which would probably provide the necessary clearance between rim and caliper, but would also mean I'd need to install longer wheel studs, which is a pain.
Any other suggestions, other than the obvious getting a set of OE rims.?

What is the stock wheel size? 17" might simply be too small to clear the calipers and please don't mess around with spacers or studs this is a good way to stress the wheel bearings and ruin them.
You don’t need to go to OEM wheels, but you do need wheels that clear the calipers. I bought 17’s on TireRack for my 2014 IS350 AWD. They didn’t have steel wheels that would fit, but I bought a set (decided to go square for winters) of reasonably priced alloys that didn’t look bad for the winter months.
