Anytime I jack my car up I use the frame rails I can post some pictures when I get home. With these cars being pretty low I drive my front wheels onto a piece of wood, set the parking brake and chock the rears, jack the car up and put the jack stands on the frame rails or pinch welds. When doing the diff you should have the car level so lift it evenly off the ground, there are some great YouTube videos out there showing the steps for the diff fluid change Platoon Garage especially. You will need to change the crush washers they are part number 12157-10010, follow all of his steps and take your time always crack the fill plug loose first before you drain anything let it all drain and fill until it still out. I would spray some pb blaster or something on the bolts first because they can be on there tight.

This is the rear diff the top right bolt is the fill always make sure you can get that off before you drain anything, the bottom one more to the left is the drain. Clean the inside of the bolt head to avoid stripping it out before you remove it.

This is where the rear jack stand will go on the metal frame rail. Make sure it is centered. This is where the front jack stand will go I put the jack as far right as it will go and jack it up this will lift both front and rear wheels on the side you are jacking up put the front jack stand right across from the blue wire coming from the 02 sensor and make sure it is centered in the silver frame rail I always give the car a small shake before I crawl under.
No problem at all make sure you buy the correct crush washers before you do the drain and fill those are a 1 time use I got mine on Amazon. Get the gear oil that comes in the bag it will be easier and go slow when pouring it in I used 75w-90 get 2 bags

Hi, do you jack it up at A, B or C? I have a smallish type of floor jack, not those full-sized ones, should I put a wooden or rubber block on it before jacking, so that it is not metal to metal?

A,B and C are all good spots to jack it up from, when raising the front i do it between a-b. For the rear I do it to the right of c. I do not use wood in between if rubber a rubber puck is best but not needed a small rag will also work. Any jack will work but when I got a full sized jack it was night and day, harbor freight has some great ones for pretty cheap, I have a husky brand and love it.
