Manual Door Lock Not Working
Hey, so I've had an issue with the manual door lock on my 2015 Lexus IS since I got it. The door handle and everything else works fine but whenever I try to stick the physical key into the door lock and twist it, it doesn't do anything. I haven't found much on it so I'm unsure how I would go about fixing it.
I know the key itself is fine because it works for the trunk so it has to be the door lock on the driver's door. Does anyone have any idea how I would go about fixing it or what I would need to do so?

I was able to figure it out today. From what I know there aren't any exact videos online about how to fix it, just people replacing the door lock actuator but not the manual cylinder lock itself. But what I did learn was that the way to remove the manual cylinder lock was to remove a gromet on the door and it will reveal a Torx 30 screw which you loosen (the screw is held in place even when completely loose) and then all you have to do is wiggle the piece a bit from the outside until it comes loose and you are able to pull it out. After that you confirm that the lock isn't broken in any way and then all you need to do is reinsert it and ensure that it lines up correctly so that it can sit where it needs to inorder to turn when the key is turned inside of the lock cylinder. Then once you confirm that it works you can tighten the screw and put the gromet back on.
