I’ve had my Lexus for about 3 months and the Nav and radio haven’t worked, I saw the SDHC chip was missing so I recently bought a new replacement one and it still didn’t turn on the Nav system, backup camera works fine on the screen. Took it to Lexus today they told me it would take them around 2 hours at a ridiculous $215 the hour so I decided not to have them check and was hoping one of you guys would save me the money and time.
Forgot to mention it is a 2014

 

it seems radio has an issue and it kills everything else (bluetooth/ settings etc)
I paid $190 to Lexus dealer to tell me that its going to be $5000 to replace radio
talked to an auto shop, they couldn’t do anything
best bet is to take it to auto audio shop, and order replacement unit from eBay or similar sites. I googled, units are available but only in US (I am in Canada). Still I think its 1500-2000 expense.
I had bought new 2017 ES350, not happy with Lexus quality. Mine has squeaking roof, dealer said $5000 to replace roof liner. No repairs but replacements only. I will replace the whole car 😀
