Worth a shot, remove the battery terminal and after a few minutes hook it up and start it up and see if the CEL disappears. Like re-booting the computer. Good luck. Did you say you already replaced the crankshaft sensor?

Why did you replace the crank sensor when P0390 indicates Bank 2 Exhaust cam sensor?

I'd start by inspecting the wires to the black sensor in the middle of the valve cover. Bank 2 is the left when sitting in the drivers seat.

it was listed as one of the main possible causes but when sitting in the drivers seat do you mean the sensor that is under the carpet in bank 2 or the sensor wire under the hood i cant find a good diagram to find exactly where it is actually got it to start but it has a loud rocking noise when i accelerate past 3000 rpms then stops once let the gas pedal go

You're looking for this black 2 wire sensor but the one on the left side. Bank 2 with cylinders 2, 4, and 6.

I'm not sure where you read that. These cars have no history of the crank shaft sensor failing. Like the MAF, the sensor is critical input and most any failure results in an undriveable car. i.e. not even limp mode is available.

I suspect a wiring problem more than sensor problem as the sensors are pretty bullet proof.

What was the last repair/maintenance job performed on the engine BEFORE this all started? I would start in that area looking for a wiring issue.

Good luck!
