Default Strut bracket arm removal - please help!!

I am so glad that I found this forum! Please help me if any one know how to remove the bracket arm where the strut sitting on it!!
my car is 2007 Lexus is250 AWD. I am replacing all 4 struts with the coilovers. However I ran into a problem which I don't know how to remove this " locked washer "from the FRONT struct bracket arm. If anyone in here knows what it is and how to remove it, would you pls tell me how to remove it!

Here's the diagram of the front AWD suspension. What exactly are you trying to do? Remove the lower strut bracket from the arm?

Can you post a picture farther away. I would like to see the whole setup.

Yes, my front strut attached to the bracket arm I was able to remove the bolt from this bracket but I couldn't remove the bracket with the strut out to install new strut on due to that strange looking " washer" or bolt on it! I dont know if I need a special tool for it in order to remove it!

Well judging by what I've seen. The washer is replaceable as well as the nut. You should be able to put a 2x2 piece of wood on the stud. Then use a 2-5lbs small sledgehammer to gently hammer it out, or not gently. The lower bracket should be a wedge type shoulder bolt. Just hammering it out should suffice. I've never personally taken my off yet, but I'd go with that method if needed be.

I'd suggest a cut off disc and cut both sides of the winged tab. Peel it off. I say this as the bolt may not be something you purchase without that whole arm coming with it.

OR grab it with vice grips and spin it off?

Thank you for taking your time to respond to my question! I finally got it out.

But I am now running into another problem! I was not able to remove the C bracket attached with the strut! I spent couple hours hammering it but no luck! I don't know what else I have to do !
Thank you

Found this a few seconds ago.

So you were able to get the strut out with bracket from the lower arm? Now you need to remove the bracket from the strut? If so put it in a vise, and spray it with some PB blaster. Let it soak for a few hours. Then try to remove it. It's a bolt. you have to wrench it out, not hammer it out.
