Default DRLs dont work no more

I have a 2006 lexus is350. I had my head lights replaced I think D4s bulbs. Now my DRLs are not on when I have my light switch to "on" or "auto". But if I'm in a parking lot sitting there with the car on and I turn the lights to "off" the DRLs come on. But they don't stay on while I drive or have my lights on. Any help appreciated.

The DRLs turn off when the headlights are ON. Without modification or adjustment via Techstream, this is the way it is set up for every car on the road. I do not even know if it possible to turn on all the time. Some folks who have looked into this can chime. In my case, I turned off the DRL and installed LED bar lights (which are ON all the time) to act as my “DRL.”

Before I changed my lights my DRLs were on with my headlights. My drls headlights and fog lights all were on when I drove before. Now after getting new d4s bulbs the drls dont turn on. I know they were on before because I had a headlight out and would get out and look. Because sometimes the head light would work and sometimes it wouldnt.

This doesn't sound right. Your fog lights don't working the same time as your DRL (highbeam in a dimmer pulse width modulation (PWM) mode).
Fog lights only work in conjunction with low beams. When in "AUTO" mode, during daytime, your DRL (highbeam) will be on. When low beams turn on at night, DRL is off, fog lights are on if fog switch is on.

Are you sure your talking about DRL? The high beam has 9005 bulb, and a 194 in the housing. The 9005 "high" is off with headlamps on. The 194 is the city bulb. That's the one that's supposed to come on with the low beams.
