Default Full Length Third Brake Light / Rear Window Spoiler

Not sure if anyone has seen anything like this but I found it interesting:

It's a cool concept but I'm not sure I would trust it to an eBay part. Has anyone done something similar or knows of a similar product?

Take a peak at the 2015 - 2019 Ford Fusion and Mustang. There is a low profile 3rd light that looks far less hideous than our inside light. I think one could use 3M tape but both have the issue of getting wires/power up there without inducing water leaks.

The eBay roof spoiler in the link has a photo showing them installing the wires through the trunk. I figure this would create a small gap in the weather strip around the trunk where water can get in.

Maybe an interior application would work better? 3M tape a different LED strip to the back window and run the wires to the existing 3rd brake light?

I guess I like the concept of this simple product especially at the price. I'm just not sure if it is worth it in terms of quality and performance (especially with leaks around the wires). Anyone insight from someone with experience with this exact product or a similar product would be great.
